One part of looking good that always brings mixed reactions are tattoos. You can be a tattoo lover, a tattoo hater, a tattoo appreciator…. but one thing is for sure, tattoos are here to stay – Americans reportedly spend a staggering $1.65 billion on tattoos every year!
First things first; anybody who tells you that “tattoos don’t hurt” either have a crazy-high pain threshold or they’re a liar. They hurt! I’ve had 12 now and (depending on where I have it) they still hurt to different degrees. As a general rule, tattooing on thinner skin or directly onto a bone is the most painful, whereas fattier parts of your body hurt less.
Did you know: the most common tattoos are angels and hearts.
Did you know: Rocker Tommy Lee Made a world record in 2017 when he became the first ever person to be tattooed in mid-air
By no means do I have a lot of tattoos – in fact I have about a hundred less than I would like to have lol, but still I love them all! All my tattoos have some kind of meaning or relevance to my life; luckily I’ve never been one to go and have a drunken tattoo done abroad lol! Obviously, if anyone does free tattoos and live close, definitely hook me up lol!
Here are all my tattoos so far:

1) An “N” on the back of my neck – my first tattoo, so because I was so scared I got a little pissy thing lol!
Fun fact: After my first tattoo I hated them and swore I’d never have another. It took me 8 years to get the next! Which was…
2) “666” on my left wrist – everyone always calls me the devil child so I played up to the part and had this. I expected it to be way more painful than it was!
3) “Charmed” symbol on my right wrist – simple enough reason, I love charmed and I thought the symbol looked cool 😅

4) “Pride” in Arabic – at least I hope that’s what it says! My original plan was to have all the 7 deadly sins on my body and I started with the one I suffer with the most. I’m very proud
5 + 6) “Never Forgive, Never Forget” on my neck and barbed wire around my wedding finger – hands down my neck is THE most painful place so far I have been tattooed! Partner problems so I decided to brand myself into never forgetting the bullshit.

7) Tribal on my right shoulder – I’d wanted a big tattoo for a while but couldn’t afford it. This cost me £200 but I think it’s well worth it!
8) Eye of Isis on my right hand – By now is decided that I want a full sleeve so I started sticking with darker designs. The detail in this one is amazing, the picture really doesn’t do the tattoo artist justice!
9) Extended my tribal onto my neck – you’d think I’d have learnt with getting my neck tattooed and yes! It was just as painful as before!

10) “Little Nan” above my left nipple – I had this because my Nan was having an operation and I was scared she was too old for anaesthetic and something was gonna happen – I thought if I got her name tattooed she’d have to pull through so she could tell me off! It worked! Lol
11) “Baphomet and the 7 sins – I finally got the 7 deadly sins on my body along with the devils henchman! I love anything dark and satanic tattoo wise!
12) “Wynter-Rae” straight across my chest – I think every one of my readers know by now this is my beautiful niece! Not even gonna lie, it’s a good job I love her cause this hurt like a bitch!

From tattoos 5 onwards I have used the same tattoo artist – I think it’s half the battle finding someone you feel comfortable with and who is good at what they do! Not gonna lie Ben is amazing at what he does and I don’t think I’d use anyone else anymore….. his shop is InkManVann Tattoos and you can click here to find his Facebook page! Based in Walsall, UK.
Feel free to share your tattoos and/or any tattoo ideas you may have – like I said, money permitting, I eventually want to be covered everywhere except my face haha!

beautiful tattoos
Thanks man, appreciate it !! 😅
Your number 3 is Led Zeppelin John Paul Jones’ symbol from their 4th album (not sure if your know this) and symbolises someone that possesses confidence and competence 😉
I did not know that! Great bit of trivia right there, Thankyou! 😘
Ha, ha, perhaps it’s because I’m an ‘oldie and instantly recognised the symbol – I’m a great Zepp fan.
It’s very Celtic also. I have the small Celtic symbol for three worlds on the inside of my ankle and wanted to get a couple more – it’s addictive you know 😉 But, my only tat bled and around it now I have little spider veins. I don’t have these veins on my other ankle so can only put it down to my skin isn’t great for tattooing. 😦
